Ms. Tiffany is a Los Angeles native who moved to San Diego to follow her passion in education in 2013. She is a graduate from the University of California, Riverside with a B.A. in Psychology Law and Society, along with an English Minor. She completed her Masters Program at San Diego State University in May 2016 where she received her Masters in Critical Literacy and Social Justice. She is in her fifth year of teaching and fourth year at High Tech Middle Chula Vista. She was inspired to pursue education because of her extensive involvement in Upward Bound Programs as a student, tutor, resident advisor, and instructor. As a first generation college student, it is imperative to Ms. Tiffany that she pushes students to work to their fullest potential and to explore a realm beyond their comfort zone.
Outside of the classroom Ms. Tiffany enjoys concerts, rooting for the Dodgers, camping, traveling, photography and exploring the gorgeous city of San Diego. Her family and former students inspire her daily work as she continues to find ways to share her work and experiences with youth and college geared programs in Los Angeles, Riverside, and North County San Diego. |
